Ask yourself if what youre doing is the best use of your time at the moment.Its a great wake up call and it helps you snap out of procrastination which is the biggest enemy of productivity.SCHEDULE FOR PRODUCTIVE HABITSOur daily thoughts impact our choices, our choices form our habits and our habits form our characters. Our characters imply a way of thinking so its a vicious circle we get trapped in.Mind your thoughts and choices for what you minds that matters.Action repeated becomes action adopted. You need to schedule for your personal development, not just business meetings.Productive people make sure to program their behaviour in a way that increases their efficiency.Every single productive and healthy habit carves your way to another one because health and wealth correspond in the same way the vice and decadence do.Thats why highly productive people, not only schedule less but schedule differently. Snapping out of unconscious mechanical processes and turning that autopilot off.When you schedule fewer tasks, its easier to focus on them and become fully aware of what youre doing.Our minds tend to wander around which really kills productivity.How many times have you done something insignificant unconsciously like locking your door?A couple of minutes later, you cant remember if you even did it so you have to go back and check.Doing things unconsciously seems to save our time and energy, but its often the other way around.When you over-schedule, your mind is always elsewhere, stressed by the mere quantity of tasks youre about to tackle.Thats why you mess up the task youre tackling at the moment. One thing at a time. If you have one thing at a day, youre a total wreck if you mess it up, right?Even if you do, its a wake-up call to change something. The pericope I chose for my close reading assignment comes from Revelation chapter 22 verses 1-6. When reading this pericope it quickly obvious the genre is apocalyptic. In the few short verses there is evidence of an apocalyptic genre such as the means of revelation. Verse 5 says, â€Å" Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal.† This pericope is apocalyptic because verse 1 is just one example of the means of revelation. The genre is also apocalyptic because it has examples of determinism. The restoration of the New Jerusalem is history moving forward towards a conclusion. The last evidence of this pericope being apocalyptic literature is the division of history into the Old and New Ages. The entire pericope is about the coming of the New Jerusalem, which is brining the old age to a close. Trying to find the boundaries of the pericope it was slightly difficult, especially when excluding chapter numbers from making the decision. Both chapter 21 and 22 talk about the restoration God will do, including the New Jerusalem and heaven. If chapter 22 is depicting the Garden of Eden will the garden be inside of the New Jerusalem? The start of this pericope begins in verse 1 in chapter 22 because of the slight shift that takes place. The shift is in chapter 21 the restoration was clear that it was the New Jerusalem. I was not only shocked after participating in such an event, I was ashamed of myself. I was ashamed that I could have ever been so ignorant not to notice these types of people before, but furthermore, I was ashamed that I took every simple luxury I possessed for granted. I learned that the soup kitchen located in the city did not provide sufficient service to those that needed food and a place to say. This was extremely disheartening. Charlotte, just the one year before had been voted the Third most unfriendly city to homeless. At the time, I was two years less mature and needless to say, I was naive. My idea of service was to begin a valiant conquest to make an enormous difference in a huge area. As I began to take action, I started over a vast area of city, and tried to help hundreds of people. In reality, the affect I was making was miniscule. As time passed, and my thoughts of service evolved, so did my approach. I realized that the only way to help was to start from the inside and work my way out. So I started working on a much smaller, more personal level. I actually took the time to get to know those I was attempting to help, and develop personal relationships. I took down far less food and allowed myself to spend more time in a certain area, to become recognized, and hopefully even accepted. This, in retrospect, was the most intelligent thing I have ever done. It is also the most rewarding thing I have ever done. Having My Ear Surgery

One of the times that I was most proud of was the time that I had my ear surgery done on December 19. I wanted ear surgery so I can hear better and because of the hole in my ear. Before surgery I was scared and worried that it will hurt so bad and painful. Right before surgery, they numbed my vein with liquid and put an intravenous needle in the numbed skin vein and they put me in the operating room. During surgery, I didn’t feel anything and the doctor started the surgery by making an incision on the ear and he put a patch on it. Next, he put more patches on the part close to my eardrum and then he found an old ear tube close to my eardrum and he removed it. After the surgery I went to the recovery room and stayed there for more than an hour and during that time I had some stuff to eat and then after that we went home. One day someone put hot sauce in a soda bottle and put it in the fridge. I came to take it out and then I started to take the bottle out. Then I started to drink from it and my tongue started to burn and I needed help from mom and I had to drink water to make the burning sensation to go away. The burning sensation went away then I had more hot sauce then the burning sensation came back. The smell was very odoriferous and spicy. The lesson that I learned was before eating or drinking anything you are supposed to check the contents of the container.
